Introduction

A key component of establishing a SOP is ensuring that our procedures are straightforward, logical, and repeatable. This guarantees that we are not reliant on any single individual for lengthy periods of time, but rather function as a team. This implies that we can enable everyone to maintain a healthy work-life balance and avoid the suffocating complexity that exists elsewhere. SOPs are not a replacement for common sense. In every case, despite of what is said above, the best course of action is to do what you feel is in the company's best interest. Because reality is far too complicated to be properly described in a written document, the objective of this paper is not to tell you what to do in every particular scenario, but to provide you with a starting point so that we do not have to start from the ground up each time a new situation arises.
